Kennedy Tries Sushi!

Kennedy had her first Sushi experience last night! And... she loved it!!

Jordan and his boss had to take an employee that was in from California out to dinner, and he brought back some left over Sushi. Kennedy is a picky eater BUT she will always try things which, as a Mother, I love and am so proud of her for!

She was very excited-especially to use the chop sticks!

Watching Daddy

These kids adore their daddy. Whatever he's doing they find fascinating. What can I say-they probably get that from me!

On Sunday afternoon, Jordan had went out to mow and when I came into the room, I saw the 3 of them looking out of the window watching him. So, I took them outside so they could see better.

Jackson stood and watched his Daddy's every step!

They are so blessed to have him for a father. He is everything I could hope for them to have.

Kennedy 4 years and10 months!

I realized I blog about the babies monthly birthday and since I don't keep up with Kennedy's age by months, I just post to update what is going on with her. I decided to start doing a monthly recap for her, too. Why not?!
This past month Kennedy:
*Month for Daddy & Kennedy's special day-Had lunch at Cracker Barrell and went to see Horton Hears a Who
*Started Tae Kwon Do
*Went to Garrett's birthday party (friend from preschool)
*Had school pictures taken (will post these when they come in)
*Informed the director of her preschool: "I have made my decision and I'm not coming back to your school another year-I'm going to big kid kindergarten"! (Mrs. Nancy got such a kick out of this!)
*Won the game of Disney Princess on Wii
*Favorite food-Daddy's steak off the grill
*Favorite drink-Root Beer
*Favorite dessert-ice cream
*Favorite TV show-Spongebob Squarepants
*Favorite movie-Prince of Egypt
*Favorite book-Fancy Nancy
*Favorite game-dress up/pretend
*Favorite color-purple
*Favorite game-hide & go seek
*Says she wants to be a Super Model, Soccer Player and Super Hero when she grows up and will marry Corbin Bleu
*Into Disney Princess & Barbie Mariposa & BRATZ
*Loves to color, draw, paint, sing, dance, ride bike, play with baby dolls, play at the park, play outside, go to the movies, go to Sonic, wear dresses, wear lip gloss, play Wii, play Nick Jr. and Noggin on the computer, go to the library, Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers songs, to bowl, and help Mama cook and bake.

Kennedy is a very high spirited and energetic little girl. She is very strong willed. She has a tender heart and is very sweet. She is a nurturer and wants to “take care” of everyone. She is very independent and always wants to do everything by herself. She likes things to be the way she wants them to be. She’s our big helper and always wants and tries to please us with what she does. She is her toughest critic-quite the perfectionist. She is very smart and she notices everything. She has a very good long-term memory. Kennedy is a great big sister. She is extremely protective of Jackson and Chandler Grace. She adores them and plays good with them. She is very motherly with them and has never showed the first sign of jealousy or resentment to them. She is very dramatic! She likes for everything to be "fancy". She has a vivid imagination and is extremely creative. She loves to perform-she is very much an entertainer. She is witty and very funny. She is a beautiful combo of being a tom boy and being very feminine. She is a happy and healthy 4 year old and she is the heart of our family.

Jackson-23 Months

Happy 23 months, baby boy!
Just 1 more month before you are 2 years old! I cannot believe that is true. You have a new found sense of independence-let the 2's begin!

Here are some of the things about you at 23 months:
*You tell "knock knock" jokes-in your own way. Example: Knock, knock. Who's there? Table. Table who? And then you just laugh!! It's so hilarious!
*You love to say No!
*You love to climb and stand on tables, chairs-anything!
*Go, Diego, Go! is still your favorite cartoon.
*You will say: "Daddy"? Dadday answers "What"? Then you go through Mama, Kennedy and Chandler Grace. But, after we all answer what-you don't say anything.
*You take off running (not moving your arms) and don't always stop when you are told.
*ALL BOY-totally fearless
*Very sensitive and sweet
*Ask "WHY!"

*Say "because"

*Favorite food pizza
*Favorite drink chocolate milk
*Still don't like meat-only hot dogs

*Love taking baths-ask all day!

Chandler Grace's First Steps!

I don't know the actual date of the "first step"-we've seen wobbly attempts for the past few weeks, but we are claiming last Thursday, April 17th, when it was undeniable and repeated, the date! We just cannot believe it-it's so exciting. Kennedy and Jackson get so excited and cheer for her when she does it. We all battle over who she will walk to! We've got to get this on video, but I managed to take some shots on Thursday. I believe this is earlier than Kennedy or Jackson-I'll have to go back and check dates. Anyway, it seems early that my smallest baby is already taking her first steps!

Chandler Grace Gets Her 5th Tooth

This morning, I found that Miss Chandler Grace had cut her 5th tooth! And from the looks of it she'll have more joining pretty soon! She just looks adorable with all of her new teeth!

Kennedy Starts Tae Kwon Do

Kennedy had her first Tae Kwon Do class yesterday. She was too excited and, so were we when we saw her in there doing her thing! She minded Master Berry and did as she was instructed! We were so proud of her. We are hoping that this will be a fun and active sport that will provide positive benefits.

I got tears in my eyes just watching her yesterday! She looked so cute, and I could tell this will be a great benefit to her.

We celebrated by going to Salsarita's and eating outside and letting Kennedy and Jackson run and play on the grass. It was such a beautiful day and they had a ball.

Kennedy's Tae Kwon Do classes will be Thursday afternoons from 4-4:30 and on Saturday mornings 10-10:30.

After 2 weeks, they hold a ceremony to formally invite her to join the school and present her with a uniform. We are all very excited about this and for the outcome!

Wagon Ride

Jordan kept the kids while I went grocery shopping at Wal Mart Saturday morning, and took them on a wagon ride around the neighborhood. They had fun enjoying the warm morning and being outside.

Chandler Grace - 10 Months

Today you are 10 months old! What a blessing you have been each month you've been in our lives.
This past month you've done a lot of new things:

*Stand from sitting
*First sippy cup

*First solid food-carrots, peas, potatoes (love bread!)

*First Stage 3 foods

*Cut top 2 teeth (4 teeth total!)

*Shake your head "no" and say "na na na" when you get upset after being told "No" or if you get frustrated

*Make more noise

*Dance

*Squat and Stand

*Climb stairs (& over and on everything!)

*To get you to quit crying in the car, I hand you my brush-works every time!

*You hold your hair when you go to sleep

*When we see you crawling for something that is off-limits you crawl as fast as you can to it!

*Very gentle

*Very feminine

*Very sweet

*Loves to cuddle

*Usually very quiet

*Laugh the hardest at Kennedy

Chandler stands from sitting!

Today we noticed that Chandler Grace stood from a sitting position! She's working really hard to be up and running with her big sister and big brother-won't be long!

Chandler is climbing up and over everything! Even the stairs-we just follow up behind her. This is earlier than I remember Jackson climbing the stairs, but my nervous feeling is very familiar!

Our Camera's Fixed!

We took the camera to Wolf Camera last night in Huntersville-it needed a new lens. Not cheap, but better than having to replace the camera. Thankfully, they had one left. So, I'm back in business! I celebrated by taking some random shots last night, and will get the blog updated with pictures that I still had on the camera and was unable to download when it broke. I am so thankful to have my camera again-photographing my babies has become quite the hobby for me!

Chandler Grace's 2 New Teeth

Chandler Grace cut her top 2 teeth yesterday, April 2nd! Bringing her grand total to 4 with 2 more on the way! What a big girl!

Tricia had her double lung transplant late yesterday evening and is successfully out of surgery with new lungs! Praise God for being faithful and answering prayers!

My dream job

Me and my 3

Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of being married and having babies!

Although it didn't come on my timeline, it came on God's exact timeline. This was God's Plan A.

My 3 children are just the best little friends anyone could want-we watch cartoons, eat snacks, cuddle, read, pray, sing, dance, play, color, and take naps together everyday. As a stay-at home mom, I consider being their caregiver, teacher, and guide to be of the highest calling and one that I consider a true priviledge and honor to have. I treasure all of the time we have to spend together everyday. My children are my life's most important contribution and my greatest joy.

After waiting 5 years to become a Mama and 7 years to become pregnant, I am so blessed and thankful for my 3 and that I'm getting to be the one with them every day-my dream job!
