Class Tea Party

Today was Kennedy's class tea party for good behavior. I first read about this on Mrs. Ashley's blog on Tuesday night, and for some reason, went and laid out her dress up clothes. Jordan called me after dropping Kennedy off at school to tell me that she was the only one dressed up because the party wasn't until Friday. Yep, that's right, that is what the blog said. I have never gotten the days wrong for school events before, but am likely never to forget that I did this time.
Kennedy was so embarrassed and I felt terrible. I sent Jordan back to school with regular clothes. Thankfully, she forgave her mama ;)
Thursday when she came home from school, she said, "Mama, the tea party is tomorrow, okay? Tomorrow."
Bless her heart.
For their tea party they had iced pomegranate black tea and hot heavenly green tea. They ate chocolate chip scones, brownie bites, pineapple, apples, strawberries, and bananas.
Also, this week is Teacher Appreciation Week, so Kennedy took Mrs. Ashley one of the roses from our rose bush today.

After school, I took the kids to Berryhill Park and Papa met us there to play. After we got home, Gigi came by after work to get Kennedy to spend the night.
When Jordan got home, we took Jackson and Chandler Grace to Frozen Delite for ice cream. Good day!

Here's the first picture I took on the wrong day!!

Beautiful both times, both days! ;) I'm 100% sure we'll all make those mistakes over the years of raising children. You're a great mom. Have a Happy Mother's Day!
