Six years ago the courts legalized what we already knew in our hearts to be true; that Kennedy had always been and will always be our baby girl.
We celebrate this precious day each year with Adoption Day.
For A Day I took Lemon Iced Cookies from Key Lime Cottage (Kennedy's favorite) to school for her class. When she got home from school, the 5 of us had her party outside. She got her wish for a skate board and lemon ice box pie :)
That night, Gigi took Kennedy to the Moon Festival at Harding University and let her spend the night for A day. After Jack's game on Saturday, we continued celebrating by going to Chuck E Cheese to play games and then across the street to eat at US Pizza.
Happy Adoption Day, Kennedy! What a blessing and joy you are to your family.
