Nathan's Annual Birthday Fish Fry

We enjoyed getting to be at Nathan's annual birthday fish fry this year. Always tons of good food, friends and family.

We were very excited that Jordan's brothers and their families came down for it. A great way to spend Memorial Day weekend!

Nana's visit

Nana came to stay the night with Papa and Gigi while Uncle Philip and Aunt Bobbie went to Uncle Philip's high school reunion in Augusta, so we went over on Saturday for a few hours to visit with her. She gave you each a birthday card and money from her and from Uncle Philip and Aunt Bobbie which you were all very excited about. Getting to play with Precious was a bonus! So great to see Nana's successful recovery from her brain surgery.

Jackson is 4 years old today!!!!

We celebrated his birthday yesterday with a cowboy party. A small group-the 5 of us, Grandpa and Grandma, Papa and Gigi, Uncle Josh, Aunt Amy, Parker, Garrett and Gracie-but lots of fun!

He dressed up like a cowboy and we had the perfect backdrop at Grandpa and Grandma's farm!

He had a cake with stars on it, ice cream, bottles of root beer and peanuts.

There was square dancing, a pinata, and water guns! The kids wore their cowboy hats, bandanas and sheriff stars. We all had a good time.

Jackson said "Awesome!" after every gift he opened. He even scored a big boy bike!

Happy Birthday to my favorite little boy who is such a blessing and brings everyone such joy.

Kennedy's Last Day of School

Today was Kennedy's last day of kindergarten. They celebrated with a pizza party. Kennedy signed up to take chips and was adamant about them being sour cream and onion. For the last day of school, Kennedy wanted to pick out her outfit, complete with boots, necklace and bracelet.

She picked out a candle to take Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Ashley sent home a goody bag along with a precious DVD with music and pictures from the school year.

We've enjoyed our Curtis Kindergarten experience and are happy that it's prepared Kennedy for 1st grade. Kennedy loved having Mrs. Ashley and the friends she made in her class: Vivi, Mia, Ashlyn, Raven, Emma, Luke, Carson and Wyatt.

Water Day

This is the last week of school and today was Water Day at Kennedy's school. She was super psyched to wear her swimsuit, cover up, and flip flops to school. She took along sunscreen, her towel and a change of clothes for after the party.

They played in sprinklers and had a marvelous time. I'm going to copy pics from Mrs. Ashley's blog when they are up.

Friday night was Kennedy's first sleep over with a friend. Ravin lives next door and is in Kennedy's class at school. They were both very excited! Spending the night with friends? Where does the time go?
