This week Kennedy's class is learning about the rain forest, recycling, taking care of our Earth, etc. in preparation for Earth Day on the 22nd. Today they started by talking about recycling and learned how to melt the different items down and make them into new items. They also learned about all the things that you can put in compost heap. Of course, this is right up our little environmentalist's alley!Jordan helped her make the compost heap and Jackson, Chandler Grace and Kennedy fed it banana peels! It is so nice to see Kennedy put into practice what she learns at school.
