Parent Teacher Conference
We had our first parent/teacher conference today with Mrs. Ashley. You had some "Meets" and mostly "Exceeds" on your report. You scored at first grade level or higher than first grade on your readiness testing for kindergarten/first grade. You are showing signs of performance anxiety at the timed testing, and she is going to work with us on ways to help you in that area.
Mrs. Ashley said that you are confident socially and that you are a leader in your class. She said that all of the girls wanted to be just like you. As the Mama of the little girl who has struggled with the social aspect of school and fitting in the past, it brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart with joy when I heard this.
We are so proud of the progress you've made with all aspects of school, Kennedy!

70 degrees in March
70 degrees in Searcy! To celebrate, we picked Kennedy up from school, got ice cream cones and went to Spring Park. This was the first time (this spring) the 3 of you were at the park together. You had fun playing and taking pictures. Kennedy you accomplished your goal of the pole, rings and monkey bars! We ended the day with a living room picnic for dinner to watch Planet 51. Good day!

Daddy's Work Tools
It was a big treat for Daddy to pull out his implant tools. An even bigger treat that you got to hold some of them! These are the tools Daddy takes for the surgeon to use to place the implants. As a Medical Sales Rep, Daddy sells the implants to the doctor and then he assists in surgery by telling the surgeon what tools to use and how to place the implant.
These tools you are holding are used for a total ankle replacement. COOL!
