Pumpkin Patch '09

We took the kids to Peebles Farms pumpkin patch in Augusta today. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time!

They fed the animals, played on the playground, and got to pick out their pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

Saturday morning

This year Jordan, Kennedy & Jackson got to participate in the "Dad and kids camp out" on our family farm!

Jordan's cousin, Nathan, and his older 3, Matasyn, Matalyn and Michael; Jordan's cousin, Jeff, with his older 3, Payton, Caleb and Seth; and Jordan's brother, Josh, with his older 2 boys, Parker and Garrett.

4 brave dads along with 10 kids endured the cold and had a marvelous time!

Neighborhood Friends

Claire and Zoe came over to play on Saturday. This was a big deal because it was the first play date at our house.

I pulled Jackson and Chandler Grace in the wagon while Kennedy rode her bike just down the street to ask the girls to come over. Of course, Jackson and Chandler Grace were so excited for Zoe to be there since Claire and Kennedy usually play together often at Claire's house.

They played in the toy room, had Halloween cookies, and played outside.

Jordan and I went to Harding with Luke and Shawna so it's extra special for our kids to play together. We are so thankful for such sweet neighborhood friends!

Jordan's 32nd birthday was September 22nd. There was only one cake to get for our Razorback nut. Thankfully, Rebecca at The Key Lime Cottage nailed it! We had a great time with family and cake. I've known Jordan since he was 4, dated him since he was 15, and been married to him since he was 20. It's been a blessing to know him for so long and to have loved him for over half of his life. He's adored by our 3 children and I'm so thankful they have him for a daddy. May God bless this to be your best year yet! Happy 32nd, Jordan!
