Mama's Wedding Dress
A few days after Christmas, Kennedy asked if I had my wedding dress. She had been staring at our wedding picture. I've kept it, so we ran upstairs so that I could show it to her.
Then, she asked to try it on. Aw. It was such a wonderful feeling watching her get all excited about seeing and wearing my wedding dress.
It made me get all sentimental. And although impossible, I was thinking I wish she could have been there, because I know how much she would have loved to see us get married. Maybe Jordan and I should go back to Hawaii, renew our vows, and take the kids along to witness. Of course, now I couldn't fit into my dress...

Straight Hair
Kennedy has been wanting her hair to be long and straight "like a princess" for some time now.
I took her on Christmas Eve as a surprise to get her hair flat ironed to temporarily let her see what her hair would look like straight.
It took over an hour, and a few tears, but Kennedy insisted to have it done. It lasted until it got wet again. So, we kept it for almost a week.
Curly or straight, she's a princess to us!
